Pilasters

Pilasters are available in two configurations - standard and extended depth. The standard pilaster layout is essentially a half-column. For standard pilasters, the sides are plain and their depth is equal to half the width of the pilaster face. The extended depth option is comprised of three equal sides (in both design and size). No matter the depth, pilasters are ideal for settings such as theater rooms.  Get creative and use them as a base to mount sconces or to hide speakers.
